What is a TIFF file?
A TIFF file is an image file format commonly used in the printing and photography industry. Itβs a lossless image format, which means that no quality is lost when saving or editing the image. TIFF files can also contain multiple images in a single file, making them useful for storing raw or unprocessed images.
Why extract images from a TIFF file?
While TIFF files are useful for storing high-quality images, not all devices and applications support this format. Extracting images from a TIFF file and converting them to more common formats like JPG, PNG, or WebP will allow you to share your images with a wider audience.
How does it work?
1
Select the TIFF file(s) you want to extract and convert to JPG, PNG, or WebP by dragging and dropping it into the upload area or clicking the button: Click to select file.
The files will be processed locally in your browser, and will not be uploaded to any server.
2
Once you've selected your files, they will appear in a small file manager.
You can remove files you don't want to convert or add more files.
You can process up to 30 files at a time.
3
If the TIFF file contains multiple images, when you select it, all the images it contains will be displayed at the bottom of the file manager.
It may take a few seconds to load all the images.
If you click on one of these images, a sidebar will open with a preview and conversion options available for that image.
4
If you want to extract all the images from all the files at once, simply select the desired format at the bottom of the screen and click the Process button, and a zip file with all the converted images will be generated.
